Housing minister John Healy’s proposal this month for better practises for the private rental market increases requirements for landlords. The proposal, which includes the introduction of a housing advice hotline and a National Register for Landlords, will encourage tenants to report any issues they may face during their tenancy.
As John Healy stated himself, “Every tenant should be confident in their decision to rent as well as be clear what to expect before they sign on the dotted line.”
This creates the need for Landlords to provide better service and facilities for their tenants. Furniture Rental can be used to make a better presentation for your rental property without spending over the odds. Furnishing your investment with second hand furniture as a cost saving scheme may cost you more in the long term under the new government private investment proposal. Most second hand furniture does not comply with the UK fire and safety regulations, something which furniture rental companies have to adhere to.
